PETIT PIERRE’S TRIBULATIONS
Petit Pierre’s Tribulations is a children’s book telling Petit Pierre’s struggle to tell his mother how much she means to him, and so, he decides to graffiti « Je t’aime maman » (I love you mom) on the city walls.
After the pictures were taken, Antoine Langé joined the team and helped us out with the book design and printing. All backgrounds were painted human size as well as the costumes
and accessories. The book was launched and exhibited at the Haute École des Arts du Rhin, on the 15/01/18, Petit Pierre Destroys the System.
For the occasion, the paintings created for the book, used or not, were exhibited among other accessories, objects and a performance by Antoine Langé, Paul Descamps, Thomas Simon and I in which Petit Pierre would try to escape the cell in which he cas incarcerated with the help of a very friendly rat. An ambient soundtrack composed and created with the help of Nicolas Guine and Acacio Ortas played while the spectators would visit the world’s first baby prison.
The book is still available for purchase, contact me by mail for more informations.
